<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 08/14/06 <br />Minutes - Page 11 <br /> <br />Review Period for a Variance Request by Charles & Street and Dale <br />Suzzane Weleczki for Property at Dale Street and Dale Court (PF 3781) <br />Court (PF 3781)." <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan; Pust; Maschka; Kough; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Consider Items Removed from the Consent Agenda <br /> <br />4.f Adopt Resolution Supporting a Grant Application to <br />the Minnesota Department of Transportation's <br />Funding for Local Roads Program for Construction of <br />the Twin Lakes Parkway <br />Councilmember Ihlan opined that the proposed resolution <br />and subsequent grant application was inaccurate in stating <br />that the Twin Lakes Parkway was an approved element <br />within the Contract for Private Development between the <br />City of Roseville and the Roseville Twin lakes LLC. <br />Councilmember Ihlan suggested that action be delayed <br />until an analysis of the recent appeals court action related <br />to Twin Lakes could be completed. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing sought City Attorney opinion regarding <br />proceeding with the grant application at this time. <br /> <br />City Attorney Scott Anderson advised that there would no <br />legal impediment to proceeding with the application at this <br />time. <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan reiterated her concerns. <br /> <br />Klausing moved, Maschka seconded, adoption of <br />Resolution No. 10422 entitled, "Resolution Requesting <br />Council Support of a Grant Application to the Minnesota <br />Department of Transportation's Funding for Local Road <br />Program;" as presented. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing spoke in support of the motion, opining <br />that, as per the City Attorney, if the application had to be <br /> <br />Items Removed <br />from the Consent <br />Agenda <br /> <br />Resolution 10422 <br />Grant Application <br />MnDOT <br />Local Roads <br />Program for <br />Twin Lakes Pkwy <br />
