<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COlJNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD AUGUST 25, 1997 <br /> <br />* * * . * * * * * * * * * * * * * * . . * * . <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on August <br />25, 1997 . <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wi ski , Maste!, Goedeke, Maschka and Wa I <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Goedeke <br />adoption. <br /> <br />introduced £he following Resolution and moved is <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9446 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE VACANT BUILDING AT 2012 ELDRIDGE TO <br />BE SECURED. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville finds the property located at 2012 <br />Eldridge to be a hazardous building within the mea rung of Minnesota Statute Section 463.251, <br />due to the fact that the building is vacant, unoccupied and open to trespass; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Roseville deem it to be in the public interest <br />to order the property owner to secure the vacant building and upon failure of the property owner <br />to comply with said order, secure the vacant building itself and assess the property for the cost <br />of the same. <br /> <br />NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Manager, Community Development Director, Code Enforcement <br />Officers, and City Attorney are instnlcted to take appropriate action, including but not limited <br />to repairing windows and doors, to secure the building located at 2012 Eldridge at the City's <br />cost, and thereafter assessing the property for the cost of the same. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Ma s te 1 and upon vote being taken thereon, <br /> <br />the following voted in favor: <br /> <br />Wiski, Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka and Wall <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br />
