<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City of Roseville, County <br />of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on Monday, the II th day of <br />Septcmber, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Council Member <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT FOR MOUNDS VIEW SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />APPLICATION FOR MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF EMOLOYMENT <br />AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (DEED) GRANT IN 2007 FOR THE <br />ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF THE DISTRICT OFFICE SITE AT <br />2959 HAMILNE AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View School District, has property located at 2959 Hamline <br />Avenue (former District offices) they desire to redevelop: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property has been determined to include certain forms of environmental <br />contamination that must be removed prior to any redevelopment occurring; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View School District will be applying for a DEED grant to <br />financially assist with the property clean-up; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, support of the DEED grant to assist with environmental clean-up costs of <br />the subject parcel is in the best interest of the City. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City of Roseville hereby supports <br />and strongly recommends grant approval to Mounds View School District for the purpose of <br />environmental clean-up of the former School District offices at 2959 Hamline Avenue affording <br />the subject parcel to be redeveloped. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Roseville City Council this II th day of September, 2006. <br />
