<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting ofthe City Council of the City <br />ofRoseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 25th day of September, <br />2006, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Ihlan, Kough, Pust and Klausing. <br />and the following were absent: none. <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 10433 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING 2007 SCORE FUNDING GRANT <br />FOR USE IN ROSEVILLE'S RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council is committed to residential waste abatement <br />through its curbside recycling program, Clean Up Day, and Leaf Pick Up Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to improve Roseville's waste abatement programs and minimize the <br />cost to Roseville residents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County has SCORE Funding Grants available for 2007; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Manager is authorized to submit <br />a grant application to Ramsey County for a 2007 SCORE Funding Grant and that that <br />grant will be used for Roseville' s waste abatement programs. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member <br />Klausing, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Maschka, Ihlan, Kough, Pust and Klausing. <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: none <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
