<br />3 <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 25 day of September, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Ihlan, Kough, Pust and Klausing. <br />and the following were absent: none. <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 10434 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF A USE DEED FROM RAMSEY <br />COUNTY FOR STORMWATER MANAGEMENT, DRAINAGE AND UTILITY PURPOSES <br />ON TAX -FORFEITED PROPERTY PARCEL #11-29-23-11-0037 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parcel is located adjacent to the Legion Baseball Field <br /> <br />WHEREAS, stormwater runoff issues exist in the area that creates ongoing erosion issues on the <br />Legion Baseball field <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is interested in acquiring this parcel for public use for storm water <br />management, drainage and utility purposes to improve the condition of the Legion Baseball Field <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends that the city obtain a perpetual use deed for the above described, tax <br />forfeited property for purposes of continued stormwater management, drainage and utility purposes in <br />the area <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville shall submit application form 962 to acquire parcel #11-29-23-11- <br />0037 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the cost to acquire this parcel by a use deed is $52.70 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that tax forfeit <br />parcel 1 1 -29-23-11-0037 be acquired by the City of Roseville for stormwater management drainage <br />and utility purposes. <br /> <br />The motion was duly seconded by Mayor Klausing and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: Maschka, Ihlan, Kough, Pust and Klausing and the <br />following voted against: none <br /> <br />WHEREAS UPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />3 <br />
