<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City of Roseville, County <br />of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on Monday, the II th day of <br />September, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Ihlan, Kough, Pust and Klausing. <br />and the following were absent: none. <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10427 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT FOR MOUNDS VIEW SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />APPLICATION FOR MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT <br />AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (DEED) GRANT IN 2007 FOR THE <br />ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF THE DISTRICT OFFICE SITE AT <br />2959 HAMILNE AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View School District, has property located at 2959 Hamline <br />Avenue (former District offices) they desire to redevelop: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property has been determined to include certain forms of environmental <br />contamination that must be removed prior to any redevelopment occurring; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View School District will be applying for a DEED grant to <br />financially assist with the property clean-up; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, support ofthe DEED grant to assist with environmental clean-up costs of <br />the subject parcel is in the best interest ofthe City. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City ofRoseville hereby supports <br />and strongly recommends grant approval to Mounds View School District for the purpose of <br />environmental clean-up of the former School District offices at 2959 Hamline Avenue affording <br />the subject parcel to be redeveloped. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Pust and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Members <br />Maschka, Ihlan, Kough, Pust; and Mayor Klausing; <br /> <br />and the following voted against; none. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Roseville City <br />Council on this II th day of September, 2006. <br />
