It includes information on a variety of subjects that <br />are of interest to the local population, including lawn care, recycling, fall litter pickup schedules, <br />street sweeping schedules, ordinance changes, volunteer opportunities, phone number to call in <br />for complaints and other storm water related information. <br />2) Roseville News Update <br />Information sheet distributed to people on the mailing list and by request. Includes general <br />information, volunteer opportunities, events and storm water issues. <br />3) Newspaper articles <br />The City periodically sends in seasonally appropriate storm water related articles to local <br />newspapers for publication <br />4) City website <br />The City has a website that has articles on a variety of subjects that are of interest to residents, <br />including storm water related articles. <br />5) Roseville Universtiy <br />Every year the City has a series of classes where City residents are invited to take tours of the <br />facility, meet staff and ask questions. These classes include presintations and special displays <br />related to matters of interest to residents, including storm water issues. On occasion the City may <br />invite a storm water professional to make a presentation. <br />6) Local access cable channels <br />The City periodically airs segments related to issues of interest to residents, including storm <br />water. Programs are aired based on time of year, activity and relevance to viewers. <br />7) City Bulletin Board <br />A variety of information, including that which is storm water related, is posted on the bulletin <br />board in City Hall. <br />8) Annual Home and Garden Show <br />Every year the City participates in the Home and Garden Show. The City has a booth/display <br />where information on good lawn care practices, native plantings and other such information is <br />available for residents. <br />9) Special inserts and packets <br />A variety of storm water related brochures /inserts are created for use.
