<br />~ <br />City Council Minutes <br />Work Session - Regular Meeting <br />June 17, 2002 <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following members 5:33 p.m. <br />present: (voting order): Kough, Klausing, Schroeder, Maschka and Roll Call <br />Kysylyczyn. Absent: none. <br /> <br />Work Session <br /> <br />Agenda Change Agenda Change <br />After Roll Call, Kysylyczyn directed the Council's attention to <br />Work Session Item II. A. <br /> <br />II. Additional Staff Presentations <br />A. Bus Shelters: Explanation of Draft Contract and Bus Shelters <br />Conforming Ordinance <br />Kysylyczyn invited City Attorney Joel Jamnik and Craig <br />Piernot to address the Council about a potential bus <br />shelter ordinance and contract. <br /> <br />J amnik summarized the key points of the bus shelter <br />contract and ordinance: The process by which potential <br />bus shelter sites are located and approved and approving <br />advertising copy. <br /> <br />Gary Young, President of Outdoor Promotions, and <br />Craig Piernot, Contract Development for Outdoor <br />Promotions, spoke to the draft agreement. <br /> <br />Kough asked about the number of shelters planned for <br />Roseville and their design and construction. <br /> <br />Schroeder asked about the payment provision in the draft <br />agreement. <br /> <br />Kysylyczyn asked about involvement of the I-35W <br />Corridor Coalition, and about selecting a bus shelter <br />design. <br />
