Schroeder suggested a 42" limit on chain-link fences. Kysylyczyn discussed the Americans with Disabilities Act. Schroeder indicated he was not including slats in permitted chain-link fences. Roll Call, Ayes: Kough, Klausing, Schroeder, Maschka and Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. Schroeder moved, Kysylyczyn seconded, setting the second reading date of July 15, 2002 and asking the Planning Commission for input on a revised ordinance. Kysylyczyn asked staff to inform the Lake Association and use media releases and the WRAP to inform affected persons. Roll Call, Ayes: Kough, Klausing, Schroeder, Maschka and Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. B. Twin Lakes Ordinance (Rezoning to Business Park B-6 (PF3359) Welsch presented. He overviewed the three-year effort to address Twin Lakes. Schroeder moved, Kough seconded, to approve the First Reading of an amendment to the City Zoning Map by rezoning from an existing mix of Industrial (1-1, 1-2), Business (B-4, B-1) and Residential (R -1) land use zones to Mixed Use Business Park District (B-6) for all the parcels located within the Twin Lakes Master Plan area as identified on the attached legal description, based on findings in Section 4 and 5 of the project report dated June 17, 2002. Kysylyczyn asked for public comment. Bruce Carlson, President of Northco, endorsed the concept but was cautious about the effect on existing buildings and uses.
