<br />~ <br />City Council Minutes <br />Work Session - Regular Meeting <br />August 12, 2002 <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with all members present with 5:30 p.m. <br />the exception of Mayor Kysylyczyn. Roll Call <br /> <br />Roll Call: (Voting Order) Klausing, Schroeder, Maschka, and Acting <br />Mayor Kough. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn arrived at the meeting at approximately 9:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Work Session <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Review of Regular Meeting Agenda <br /> <br />II. Presentations <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Budget Work Session #4: Public Works; Parks & <br />Recreation (including Central Park Foundation <br />proposed Arboretum Improvements) <br />Public Works Director Duane Schwartz reviewed the <br />operations of, and the proposed budgets for, the divisions <br />within the Public Works Department. Then, Parks and <br />Recreation Director Lonnie Brokke reviewed the <br />operations of, and the proposed budgets for, the divisions <br />within the Parks and Recreation Department. Brokke <br />also stated that Monte Johnson of the Central Park <br />Foundation would like to discuss a capital donation to <br />the City relating to the Muriel Sahlin Arboretum. <br /> <br />III. Public Comment <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Kough asked for public comment and no <br />one came forward.
