We believe the result of the check
cashing operation wilt be 9. less than desirable group of people both loitering in our parking and
sidewalk areas1 posing a significantly increased risk of theft to all our facilities and vehicles_
We also believe it will drive away the regular users of this fine RoseviUe Shopping-Center (many
of them seniqr citizens), so we are very concerned it will lead in several ways to the detraction of
your public space and decrease the value of all our businesses in a very real way.
One of the longest tenants Dr. Higgins, who has been. voted Roseville'g Best Chiropractor 3
different years by the readers of the Roseville .Review, and who has provided health care in this
Location for 13 years has stated she is 95% sure she wiIJ vacate Tower Glen Center if the check
cashing busiriess moves in.
We have all worked very hard to keep this Shopping Center perceived by the public as friendly,
clean, convenient .and most importantly SAfE. We believe these concerns to b~ very real and we
Rre counting po you to keep this location in Ros~vJlIe viable and ~cQnomjca.IIy healthy so we may
continue to offer the great service we currently. provide to RoseyilJe's citizens.
We are aware of 8. similar situation in District 9 Cotnmunity Council and the City of St. Paul,
where tbe te~antB of. Hillcrest Shopping Center and nearby businesses did not want the same
type of business at their shopping center Rnd were able to keep it out by letting the city council
know their concerns and requests as we are doing now.
Unified as owners and managers of Tower Glen Shopping Center, WE ASK TlIAT YOU
VOTE "FQR"-OUR ROSEVILLE COMMUNITY AND SAY "NO'~ TO THE
CHECK C.t\SHING LICENSE APPLICATION.

Thanking you in advance from all orus at Tower Glen Center in Roseville:

3.

over

Title~ - ~;.t:5I11.klI\j(eT
D (}JWA- /t~ ~ ~VYJft~L
. ~ ftij/lol we.

~

LJ
Name:

2. m~ t

4.
