<br />Regular City Council Minutes - 09/23/02 <br />- Page 23 <br /> <br />Proposed Letter for next issue of Roseville WRAP <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn referred to a proposed letter drafted by <br />staff, dated September 22, 2002, recomIuending signing by <br />each Councilmember. This letter would be highlighted in the <br />next edition of the city newsletter, addressing the upcoming <br />bond issue for the Police and Public Works facility <br />improveIuen ts. <br /> <br />After discussion, it was the consensus of Councilmembers that <br />they were supportive of the overall intent of the letter, and <br />would each sign the docun1ent to be included in the newsletter, <br />upon the deletion of the last sentence in the first full paragraph. <br /> <br />A. Consider Waiving the Attorney-Client Privilege Attorney-Client <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn left the meeting at 10:05 p.m., turning over Privilege <br />the gavel to Acting Mayor Kough. <br /> <br />City Attorney J amnik had provided a legal opInIon as <br />Councilmembers discussed a proposed resolution entitled, <br />"Supporting Waiver of the Atton1ey Client Privilege." <br /> <br />Councilmember Klausing reviewed his original intent for <br />bringing the n1atter forward. <br /> <br />After extensive discussion, Klausing n10ved and Maschka <br />seconded, adoption of a resolution entitled, "A Resolution <br />Supporting Waiver of the Atton1ey-Client Privilege." <br /> <br />Roll Call <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Maschka and Klausing. <br />Schroeder and Kough. <br /> <br />The n10tion failed. <br /> <br />XIV. Adjournment Adjournment <br />Klausing moved, Schroeder seconded, adjournn1ent of the <br />Iueeting atl0: 17 p.n1. <br />
