<br />September 3,2002 <br /> <br />Mayor and Council Members <br /> <br />Dear Sirs, <br /> <br /> <br />We the members of the Roseville Fire Departlnent are dedicated to the well being of <br />our citizens and community. We "volunteer" to work as part-time fttefighters sacrificing <br />falnily and leisure time to serve you. We put on hold our families to risk our life for the lives <br />and property of others when called to duty. We are proud to be fttefighters, we are very <br />proud to be Roseville fttefighters. We as fttefighters have a concern for our cormnunity. <br />This concern has grown now to include our future as a depart1nent and as a cOlnmunity. <br />There are many challenges in this new dawn of risks. We face many unknowns. To <br />successfully accept and meet these challenges and to keep our citizens and cOlnmunity safe, <br />we need your assistance. We the undersigned extend our request for the Mayor and the <br />Council to come together by etting your differences aside and work for the COlnmon goal <br />of making Roseville the - a live work. <br />
