<br />Regular City Council Minutes -10/21/02 <br />Page 8 <br /> <br />Commission to take a broader look at the business <br />community as a whole. <br /> <br />Counci1member Klausing asked Mayor Kysy1yczyn to <br />suggest a modification to the motion to reflect his <br />concerns in an effort to move forward. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysy1yczyn stated that, rather than expanding the <br />motion, he would prefer not to provide any specific ranges <br />for Planning Commission review; but to allow more <br />flexibility. <br /> <br />Councilmember Klausing asked if the Mayor would make <br />a motion to that affect, or an amendment to the original <br />motion. <br /> <br />After further discussion, Mayor Kysylyczyn suggested <br />withdrawal of the original motion. <br /> <br />Counci1member Klausing stated he would support the <br />motion without specific numbers. <br /> <br />Councilmembers Maschka and Kough concurred to <br />amending the motion to eliminate any specific numbers in <br />order to allow a comprehensive look. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysy1yczyn spoke against the motion, unless it <br />included involvement by the Chamber of Commerce, and <br />asked that the motion be withdrawn. <br /> <br />Councilmember Klausing spoke against further <br />modification to specify particular parties singled out for <br />inclusion in the decision-making; suggesting that staff use <br />the communication tools available (i.e., Roseville Wrap, <br />regular published notices, and neighborhood notice) to <br />alert those having interest in the process. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysy1yczyn remained in disagreement. <br /> <br />After further discussion, Kysylyczyn moved and <br />Schroeder seconded amendment of the original motion to <br />
