<br /> <br /> <br />Police Civil Service Commission <br /> <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Tuesday, May 8, 2012 1:00 pm <br />City Hall Elm Room, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Roseville, Minnesota 55113 <br />Commissioners Present: <br />Chairperson Zoe Jenkins, Recording Secretary Don Drackert, Commissioner Brad VanderVegt <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> Chief Rick Mathwig <br />1. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Jenkins at 1:00PM. Ms. Jenkins welcomed Mr. <br />Brad VanderVegt to today’s meeting, introduced him to all present and swore him in as a new <br />commissioner. <br />2. The Agenda for today’s meeting was reviewed and approved as submitted. <br />3. The minutes of the February 28, 2012, meeting were reviewed and unanimously approved. <br />4. The Commissioners and Chief Mathwig welcomed Mr. VanderVegt to the RPCSC and provided a <br />general overview of the Commission and its responsibilities. He was provided a copy of the <br />Rules and Regulations of the Police Civil Service Commission of the City of Roseville dated <br />January 1, 2011. He was also provided general information on Minnesota State Statue 419 <br />which governs the duties and responsibilities of Police Civil Service Commissions within the State <br />of MN. <br />5.
