<br />Section 12. 1016.25D is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Shore land Alterations: Alterations of vegetation and topography shall be regulated to prevent erosion into public <br />waters, fix nutrients, preserve shoreland aesthetics, preserve historic values, prevent bank slumping, and protect fish <br />and wildlife habitat. Fill and grading activities within shoreland shall comply with subsections 1016.25A2a through <br />A2i and 1016.258. Erosion control measures shall comply with Chapter 1017: Erosion and Sedimentation Control <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 13. 1016.25E2a is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Intensive vegetation clearing within the shore and bluff impact zones and on steep slopes is not allowed. Intensive <br />vegetation clearing outside of the impact zones is allowable as a conditional use if an erosion control and <br />sedimentation plan is developed per the requirements of Chapter 1017: Erosion and Sedimentation Control <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 14. Summary approved. The City Council hereby detennines that the text of the summary marked <br />"Official Summary of Ordinance No._, a copy of which is attached hereto clearly infonns the public of the <br />intent and effect of the ordinance. The City Council further determines that publication of the title and such <br />summary will clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 15. Filing. The City Clerk shall file a copy of this ordinance in her office, which copy shall be <br />available for inspection by any persons during regular office hours. <br /> <br />Section 16. Publication. The City Clerk shall publish the title of this ordinance and the official summary in <br />the official newspaper ofthe City with notice that a printed copy of the ordinance is available for inspection by any <br />person during regular office hours at the Office of the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Section 17. If this Section (1017) imposes a requirement different from other sections of the city <br />code, the more restrictive section shall apply. <br />
