Section 12. 1016.25D is hereby amended to read as follows: Shore land Alterations: Alterations of vegetation and topography shall be regulated to prevent erosion into public waters, fix nutrients, preserve shoreland aesthetics, preserve historic values, prevent bank slumping, and protect fish and wildlife habitat. Fill and grading activities within shoreland shall comply with subsections 1016.25A2a through A2i and 1016.258. Erosion control measures shall comply with Chapter 1017: Erosion and Sedimentation Control Ordinance. Section 13. 1016.25E2a is hereby amended to read as follows: Intensive vegetation clearing within the shore and bluff impact zones and on steep slopes is not allowed. Intensive vegetation clearing outside of the impact zones is allowable as a conditional use if an erosion control and sedimentation plan is developed per the requirements of Chapter 1017: Erosion and Sedimentation Control Ordinance. Section 14. Summary approved. The City Council hereby detennines that the text of the summary marked "Official Summary of Ordinance No._, a copy of which is attached hereto clearly infonns the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. The City Council further determines that publication of the title and such summary will clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. Section 15. Filing. The City Clerk shall file a copy of this ordinance in her office, which copy shall be available for inspection by any persons during regular office hours. Section 16. Publication. The City Clerk shall publish the title of this ordinance and the official summary in the official newspaper ofthe City with notice that a printed copy of the ordinance is available for inspection by any person during regular office hours at the Office of the City Clerk. Section 17. If this Section (1017) imposes a requirement different from other sections of the city code, the more restrictive section shall apply.
