Sum�ary and Conclusions The City of Rosevill� has become a more mature, affluent, White Collar community during the past seven years. However, there was a growing trend toward mdre diversity in the occupational choices of residents since the 1990 study. The median longevity in the city of 13.3 years. Twenty-seven percent residents for f ve years or less, while twenty percent residents for over thirty years. The median adult age was 502 years old. Twenty-one percent were under 35 years old, and forty-one percent were over 54 years old. The median education level was college graduatior.. Twenty-two percent had high scheoi or less education, while fifty-four percent were at least college graduates. Upscaie White Collar — Professional-Technical or Owner-Manager — job-holders were thirty-five percent of the househotds heads. Retirees headed twenty-five percent of thc househelds. Clerical-Sales people headed nineteen percent of the households in the city, while Blue Collar warkers headed another fourteen percent. The typical household reported $46,850.00 yearly pre-tax income. Seventeen percent posted incomes under $25,OQ0.00 annual incomes, while fourteen percent posted househald incomes over $75,000.00 annually. Thirty-one percent of households contained school-aged children or pre-schoolers. Twenty-s�x percent of i�ouseholds contained senior citizens. Scventy-six percent owned their present residence. In fact, the median current value of residential property was $127,500.00. Women and men were equally represented in the sample. t2
