(Approximately $8.�0 to $9.00/manth.) <br />2, Resident pays Ramsey County property iaxes, part of <br />which is used for paying Ramsey County and Metro- <br />politan Council for solid waste management. <br />3. Resident pays separate waste management service fee <br />to Ramsey County, $7.06 in 1986 and approximatley <br />$14.OQ i.n 1987. <br />3a. Future monies for city-wide curbside pickup o� <br />recyclables and grass clippings. (Estimated at <br />$5.50/household/year.) <br />4, Waste haulers collecting refuse in Ramsey and <br />Wash�ngton Counties wi�l pay NSP a tipping fee <br />(currently estimated at $24/tan initially) for <br />depositing waste at the RDF facility. The actual <br />annual tipping fee will. be J.20 percent of the <br />average ].andfill tipping fee in �he Metropolitan <br />Area. <br />5. NSP pays Ramsey County approximately $10/ton, for <br />fuel value recovered from refuse, �hereby reducing <br />the cost of processing waste ta approximately <br />$31/ton. <br />6. Ramsey County pays a subsidy, estimated at $7/ton t� <br />NSP. This is a pass through service charge paid by <br />the resident. See Item 3 above. <br />22 <br />
