EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 23'd day of October 2006, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Kough, Maschka, Ihlan, Pust and Klausing. and the following were absent: none. Councilmember Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 10446 RESOLUTION APPROVING MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF COUNCIL MEMBER TAMMY L. PUST TO THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY IN AND FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE TO FILL A VACANCY BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Roseville, Minnesota (the 'City"), as follows: I. On August 23, 2006 a Board Member term for the Housing & Redevelopment Authority, in and for the City of Roseville ("HRA") expired. 2. Per Minnesota Statute 469.003 Subdivision 6, any member of the governing body of a city may be appointed and may serve as a commissioner of the authority for the city. The council of any city which appoints members of the city council as commissioners may set the terms of office of a commissioner to coincide with the commissioner's term of office as a council member. 3. The Mayor has submitted for this Council's consideration the appointment of Council Member Tammy L. Pust to fill a vacancy for a term that will expire at the end of Council Member Pust's current term as Council Member, that is, the first council Meeting in 2009 following the 2008 General Election. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Maschka, and upon vote taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Kough, Maschka, Ihlan, and Klausing the following voted against the same: none, and the following abstained: Pus!. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
