'ou can buy a house anywhere, but in Rosevifle, you five."
The heart of our cornmunity will be the Civi Center and the suROUnding facitities and
parks. This will establish a unifying focus for Roseville residents and establish a strong
sense of community. All recreatia faciiities will be of uniformly high quatity, and wi[i be
wel! maintained ard properfy supervised. Community involvement will be intuded and
encouraged in a1# phases of planning, implementatior and operation.
The recommended Rosevi!(e Parks and Recreation infrastructure improvements
address three goals. First, to enhance a sense o# idenfity and community in
Roseville by creation o€ a unified city center, and an integrated pathway syst$m linking
n;ighrorhoods, and by providing opportunities for citizens to gather and in#eract.
Second, to increase the value of individua# neighborhoods as desirabfe places to
iive and play by virtue of pleasirg aesthetics and neighborhood recreationa
opportuni#ies. Third, to maintain Rosedille as a desirabfe place to live and work by
proiding parks and facilities with a reputation for exceltence.
5
