SIXTEEN OR MORE ............................1$ <br />NO ANSWER/NONE .............................8% <br />Most residents reported one-ta-three trips daily for their <br />household. <br />1-3 trips were mast often undertaken by: <br />* Senior couples <br />* Retirees <br />* Over 55 year olds <br />* High school graduates <br />4-7 trips were the norm for: <br />* Households containing children <br />* Clerical-Sales households <br />* 25-44 year olds <br />* $37,500-$50,000 yearly income households <br />8-11 trips were most often undertaken by 18-24 year olds. <br />Again, age was a key explanation for the number of trips <br />outside of the city. <br />Use of Public Transportation: <br />Respondents were asked four queries about their use of <br />public transportation. Initially, usership was established: <br />Have you or any members of your house- <br />bold used publio transportation, other <br />than the airlines, in the past three <br />months? <br />Twenty-eight percent had used public transportation du�ing the <br />past three months: <br />YES.......................................28% <br />NO........................................72� <br />This level is at the norm for cammunities sharing the <br />demographics of Roseville. <br />Usage was higher among: <br />* Clerical-Sales households <br />* 35-44 year olds <br />140 <br />
