Initially, <br />usership was established: <br />In the past year, have you or any <br />members of this household partici- <br />pated fn any city-sponsored park and <br />recreational programs? <br />Forty-three percent were participants during the past year: <br />YES.......................................43� <br />NO........................................56� <br />DON'T KN�W/REFUSED .........................2% <br />This participation level is almost fifty percent higher than the <br />suburban norm. <br />Participation rates were higher among: <br />* Households containing children <br />* Owner-Manager & Blue Collar households <br />.. <br />
