Commissioner supported making a positive presentation. <br />242 Commissioner Venters said the police department training may need to be a long-tertn pursuit, <br />243 and clarified that the HRC's intent was to be an observer with other regional law enforcement <br />244 agencies (i.e., FBI and Attomey General's Office) providing diversity training for officers. <br />245 <br />246 Commissioners concurred that they would arrive at the meeting on Apri1 14 at approximately <br />247 6:30 p.m. to coordinate the presentation and handout materials and format and organization of <br />248 the materials. <br />249 <br />25Q <br />?51 <br />252 <br />253 <br />254 <br />255 <br />256 <br />257 <br />258 <br />Commissioner Oftelie suggested that a filc copy of the presentation bc archived with other HRC <br />materials at City Hall. <br />Chair Delmore volunteered to e-mail Comrnissioners Bosch and Crutnp to invite them to the <br />meeting with the City Council. <br />Adjournment <br />Comrnissioner Delmore moved and Commissioner McKenzie seconded adjouininent of the <br />meeting at 8:06 p.m. Motion carried 5/0. <br />
