Working in a way <br />that recognizes that different people and cultures have different strengths, <br />gifts and challenges that make the group s�ronger and the possibilities <br />greater. <br />(Ground Rules} �bjectives: <br />• A sharing of rights and responsibilities of all members. <br />• A process which uses individual and community power as a way to <br />recognize e�ery member's values, participation and ability to cooperate in <br />a respectful manner. <br />• An attitude that shared power can be limitless, instead of viewing each <br />other's challenges as setbacks. <br />• An approach which encourages compromise and unified vision as a way <br />to work through opposing viewpoints. <br />� A celebration of differences based on dialogue and exchange. <br />• A sharing of knowledge based on personal experiences, supporting the <br />idea that knowledge is an on-going process. <br />• 5haring equally in future planning. <br />
