� �f: � � <br />' � /r' IIi <br />Human Rights Commission <br />Meeting Notes, Novernber 9, 2044 <br />Present: Thelma McKenzie, Chair; Janet Delmore, Howard Wagner <br />Absent: Phillip Crump, Steve Srnith, Karen Vnuk, Larry Voeller, <br />Staff: Carolyn Curti <br />A Quorum was not reached for the November 9 Human Rights Cornmission meeting. <br />Commissioners present met informally and discussed issues of interest. <br />A total of 227 students from three schools submitted essays. Commissioners will read and <br />score them on the 30 point sca�e and submit the tap 4 to 5 choices to Carolyn Curti by Friday, <br />December 10. <br />Commissioners discussed whether we should invite the Roseville Police to partner in a"It's <br />Time to Talk" program similar to what is being done in Chaska. <br />The U of M Human Rights Resource Center has developed a human rights curriculum.
