FILE NO. C�-99-5532 <br />REPORT TO THE CHIEF JUDGE <br />OF THE ABOVE COURT PURSUANT <br />TO MINN. STAT. 410.05, SUBD. 2 <br />The Charter Commission heretofore appointed is pleased to report the fotlowing activities <br />occurring in the calendar year 1999. <br />1. The first meeting of the Charter Commission was called to order by Vicky <br />Lorenz, Temporary Chairperson on September 22, 1999. The meeting was held at the City Hall <br />for the City of Roseville, 2b60 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota at 7:00 P.M. <br />At the first meeting a connmittee �vas appointed to propose n.iles of procedure and by- <br />laws of the Charter Commission. The meeting was adjourned, and a new meeting was scheduled <br />for October 20, 1999. <br />2. The second rneeting was again called to order by Temporary Chairperson Vicky <br />Lorenz. An election of officers was conducted and the folIowing were elected. <br />Vicky Lorenz <br />Robert C. Bell <br />Georgiana Sobola <br />Chairperson <br />Vice Chairman <br />Secretary <br />By-laws and rules of procedure «-ere adopted. <br />Oral reports were received from Officers of the City of Roseville. The meeting �vas <br />adjourned and a new meeting scheduled for November 17,1999. <br />3. At the third xneeting of the above Commission on November 17, furthe�. reports <br />and testirnony were received from Officers of the City of Plymouth on the experience they had in <br />adopting a charter. <br />
