City Council Regular Meeting - 01108/07 Minutes - Page 2 Councilmembers Roe; Kough; Pust; Ihlan and Mayor Klausing. Approve Agenda Approve Agenda Mayor Klausing called for any comments or discussion on tonight's Agenda. Mayor Klausing noted that Consent Item 3.h entitled, "Designate 2007 Acting Mayor," should be removed for discussion. Councilmember Kough requested that Consent Item 3.1 entitled, "Approve Mayor's Appointment of Dean Maschka to the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA)," be removed for discussion. Councilmember Kough also noted that he had several questions on Consent Item 3.a entitled, "Approve Check Register." Councilmember Kough questioned the status of an Audit Committee appointed from Councilmembers to meet with staff and the City's external auditors; and questioned whether it was in place yet. Mayor Klausing and Interim City Manager Miller concurred that, while discussion had been held and information provided on the role of such a committee, neither recalled formal action of the City Council to appoint such a committee. Mayor Klausing noted that the suggestion of Councilmember Kough was prudent; and directed staff to redistribute the staff report previously prepared and discussed, for further discussion at the upcoming City Council Study Session. 1. Receive Public Comment about City Issues Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the audience on any City Issues. No one appeared on any non-agenda items. 2.
