March 1, 2001 <br />Note to �Vicky Lorenz <br />Jack Brew�r <br />RE: Section 5.02 Initiative and Referendum <br />There was some discussion af Section 5.02 after the motions <br />to divide zt into two separate sections were made, as noted in <br />the minutes. I have replayed the videotape three times and <br />find that there were no amendments, friendly or otherwise, or <br />no new motions to change the original language of the motzons <br />�hat were made. I did, however, give a titie to 5.03, since <br />this was not included in the motion, but mentioned in the <br />discussicn. I'm just �entioning this, in case any questians <br />come up next month. <br />I personally feel these separate sections shoul� be retained <br />as they were approved. Renumbering the sections of Chapter 5 <br />should not be a problem, especially since we will be <br />considering adding a section on expenditures. I doubt if <br />sections of Chapter 5 are mentioned in the rest of the model <br />charter.
