REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION <br />06/18/12 <br /> DATE: <br /> ITEM NO: 9.a <br />Department Approval: City Manager Approval: <br />Item Description: Adopt Amendments to Chapter 1010, Sign Regulations, of the Roseville <br />Zoning Ordinance (). <br />PROJ0013 <br />1.0B <br />ACKGROUND <br />1.1Over the past year and a half, the Planning Division has been reviewing, modifying, and <br />correcting language specific to signs and the regulations thereof. <br />1.2On April 4, 2012 the Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />proposed amendments to Chapter 1010 Sign Regulations of the Zoning Ordinance, voting <br />5-0 to recommend approval of the text amendment to the City Council. <br />1.3On May 14, 2012, the City Council was introduced to the sign regulations amendments <br />and had a number of questions of the City Planner.
