Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,June 11,2012 <br /> Page 7 <br /> City Manager Malinen identified preliminary topics as compiled by the School <br /> District Board Chair and Superintendent, along with him and Mayor Roe, is <br /> proposed as follows: <br /> • Collaboration and cooperation <br /> • Owasso school site intentions, as demolition plans move forward and prepa- <br /> ration is pursued for redevelopment of that site; along with the impacts on <br /> adjacent City-owned athletic fields <br /> • Senior Citizen programs <br /> • Update the existing joint work plan created several years ago <br /> Councilmember McGehee sought assurance that the meeting would be streamed; with Mayor <br /> Roe responding that the preliminary discussions indicated that this would be the case. <br /> Councilmember Willmus questioned if the meeting would also be available for <br /> replay via C-TV; with Mayor Roe asking City Manager Malinen to verify that, <br /> but opining that he was confident that it should be available through either the <br /> City's website or C-TV, since it should default to City rules. <br /> Mayor Roe encouraged Councilmember McGehee, based on the agenda out- <br /> lined by City Manager Malinen, to submit any comments on those items in writ- <br /> ing prior to the meeting. <br /> Pust moved, McGehee seconded, approval of a Special Meeting between the <br /> City Council of Roseville and the Roseville Area School District, scheduled for <br /> Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the District Offices at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Johnson; McGehee; Pust; Willmus; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 9. General Ordinances for Adoption <br /> 10. Presentations <br /> a. Public Works, Environment and Transportation Commission (PWETC) <br /> Meeting with City Council <br /> All members of the PWETC were present and introduced: Chair Jan <br /> Vanderwall; Past Chair Jim DeBenedet; Vice Chair Dwayne Stenlund; and <br /> Members Joan Felice and Steve Gjerdingen. <br /> Chair Vanderwall noted the diverse expertise and individual interests of Mem- <br /> bers, and how those individual opinions provided good discussions and a good <br /> working commission, resulting in agreement of what was in the best interest of <br /> the City for recommendation to the City Council. Chair Vanderwall expressed <br /> the PWETC's appreciation of the City's Public Works and Engineering staff as <br /> well. <br />
