Jy
Update
The northerly 400 feet of Partridge Road between
County Road C -2 and the cul- de- sac is scheduled
for pavement rehabilitation this summer. The City's
Contractor, Valley Paving, will start work the week
of June 18.
The Contractor will be replacing the street
pavement. The contractor will remove and replace
curb. Curbs scheduled for removal have been
marked. The existing pavement will be ground up
and graded out for new pavement. Finally, the
streets will be paved with two lifts of bituminous.
This work should take about 4 weeks.
The work is anticipated to be complete in July. The
Contractor's full schedule is available on the project
webpage. We meet with the contractor weekly and
update this schedule if it changes. This schedule is
weather dependent.
The Contractor will try to maintain access during
construction. If you have special access needs,
please contact us to let us know.
Storm Sevaer Improvements
We will be installing storm water retention features
behind the curb at the following locations:
• Between the driveways to 2965 Partridge.
• In the northeast corner of the cul- de-sac and
along the east curb line of the road.
Mail Delivery & Garbage Pick up
The construction work should not impact your mail
delivery or garbage pickup. Schedules and times
should remain unchanged.
Safety
Your assistance in keeping the work zone safe is
important. The noise and dust created by
construction traffic make it difficult for workers to
watch onlookers. Heavy equipment operators must
concentrate on the job at hand and may not notice
children playing near or behind equipment.
Please remind children to stay clear of the
construction area and equipment both during
working and non - working hours.
2012 Pavement
Management Project
Curb and Gutter
The curb and gutter repairs at driveways are
marked. When the replacement curb is poured,
you and your customers will not be able to use that
driveway for five -days. This allows the concrete to
harden or "cure ".
Private Systems in right of my
Underground sprinklers and electrical for lights
within 10 or 15 feet of the curb marked for removal,
or areas scheduled for utility work need to be
removed from the right of way.
Removal and reinstallation of these items is the
responsibility of the property owner. We
recommend that you mark with paint or flags the
location of underground wires or sprinklers
immediately.
If you are not sure if your system is in the way,
please call Dean Findell.
The system should be removed from the city right -
of- way before construction starts the week of June
18. If you cannot meet this schedule, please
contact us.
If these items are not removed, the contractor will
damage them during construction.
Check for construction updates at: www.citvofroseville.com /2012PMP
