Mr. Keel advised that the citizens were interested in consis-
tent management plans and funding for long-term infrastructure needs; and ex-
pressed strong support for alternatives in transportation (i.e., pathway and transit)
and specifically asked for an update of the Master Pathway Plan, and that it be
consistently updated as a living document for the community.

Mr. Keel advised that many comments were shared regarding the City working
with other government agencies, specifically as it related to the issue of mainte-
nance, and in keeping with the economic viability of the community. Mr. Keel ob-
served that the citizens wanted a high quality system, and high maintenance of that
system. Mr. Keel noted that overall, technology was a theme, with the issue of
proactively planning for the long-term future. Mr. Keel noted that citizens recog-
nized that the availability of technology was a common equalizer for all citizens,
and something of value, providing economic advantages to individuals as well as
the business community, and that the City should remain proactive, without being
on the outer cutting edge of technology. Mr. Keel noted that, while citizens
thought access to wi-fi was appropriate (after the bugs had been worked out), a
more appropriate consideration would be to install fiber optic access in roadway
