<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of March, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Pust; Ihlan; Kough; Roe and Klausing. <br />and the following were absent: none. <br /> <br />Councilmember Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 10491 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF <br />DEAN MASCHKA <br />TO THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />IN AND FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />WHEREAS: On December 31,2006, when Councilmember Dean Maschka's term as <br />councilrnember expired, it created a vacancy for a term that expires Septelnber 23, 2007 <br />on the Housing & Redevelopment Authority, in and for the City of Roseville ("HRA"); <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.003 Subdivision 6, all terms <br />after initial staggered terms shall be for 5 years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Mayor has submitted for this Council's consideration the re- <br />appointment of resident Dean Maschka for a term of 5 months ending September 23, <br />2007; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota: 1) the City Council does hereby approve Dean Maschka for a term of 5 <br />months ending September 23, 2007. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Pust, and upon vote taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Pust, Roe and Klausing <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: Ihlan and Kough. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
