Nays: None. 7.c Preliminary Approval and Set Hearing - Preliminary Approval and Set a Public Hearing to Provide Conduit Financing for Cen- tennial East Apartments (continued) ***Note: Corrective action for previously-adopted motion related to Agenda Item 7.c (Plus 8.a) entitled, "Preliminary Approval and Set Hearing - Preliminary Approval and Set a Public Hearing to Provide Conduit Financing for Centennial East Apartments. " Councilmember Pust noted that, in further reviewing the matter with staff, there was a disparity in the staff report and the recommended resolution, and the language of the motion was something other than what should have been adopted, as identified in the proposed resolu- tion language prepared by Bond Counsel. Councilmember Pust noted that the language, as prepared by Bond Counsel, and granting prelimi- nary approval, was the legally accepted format necessary to proceed. Pust moved, Roe seconded, that the City Council waived the full read- ing of the presentation and resolution included in the staff report dated April 23, 2007; and by consent of the City Council, moved adoption of Resolution No. 10496 entitled, "Resolution Reciting a Proposal for a Financing Program for a Multi-Family Rental Hous- ing Development, Calling for a Public Hearing Thereon, Giving Pre- liminary Approval to the Project and the Program, Authorizing an Application for Bonding Authority, and Authorizing the Preparation of Necessary Documents and Materials (Centennial Gardens East Project);" and aoorovinz Public Notice for the Public Hearinz, scheduled on Mondav, Mav 21, 2007 at 6:00 O.m., and zrantinz ore- liminarv aooroval and aoolication for bondinz.
