<br />CHRONOLOGY <br /> <br />. Discussion occurring over several years regarding the need for a landscaping plan <br />for the Civic Center site. ,qC]z--- <br /> <br />. Rosedale expands and donates three sculptures to the City. <br /> <br />. Committee of Council member, Parks and Recreation Commission members and <br />City staff recommended creating a Sculpture Park northeast of City Hall. <br /> <br />. Council requests staff to take a more comprehensive look at improvements for the <br />Civic Center site including the Sculpture Park, landscaping, signing, and irrigation. <br /> <br />. Three firms submit proposals for developing a Master Plan and Council retains RLK <br />Associates in February, 1992. Master Plan is completed and awaits future funding <br />decisions. <br /> <br />. In early 1993, Roseville received a FederallSTEA Grant for construction of pathway <br />on County Road C. <br /> <br />. In May, 1993, Roseville received a second Federal Grant for enhancement of the <br />County Road C pathway. The grant was based on the RLK plan for the portion of <br />the site at the intersection of County Road C and Lexington Avenue. <br /> <br />. The Council reviewed plan at work sessions. <br /> <br />. Notice published in paper inviting residents to Open House to review and comment <br />on proposed plan. Property owners on east side of Lexington were mailed notices. <br />Three residents provided comments at the Open House. <br /> <br />. Council retains RLK to prepare final design, specifications, assistance with bidding, <br />and construction observation. <br /> <br />. RLK prepares final plans working with the State Department of Transportation. <br />
