<br />EXTRACT OF MmUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on <br />Monday, the 22nd day of September, 1997 at 6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Maschka, Mastel, Wall, and Wiski; <br />and the following members were absent: None. <br /> <br />Council Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9473 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING A VARIANCE AT <br />1742 ALTA VISTA DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.020, City Code, requires a minimum lot area of 11,000 <br />square feet, a minimum lot width of 85 feet, and a maximum floor area ratio of 0.3 for <br />interior lots in an R1 zoning district; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Robert Skundberg has requested a lot size variance to reduce the lot <br />area to 9,670 square feet and 6,915 square feet, and a lot width variance to 71.6 feet for <br />the purpose of subdividing a through lot into two parcels at 1742 Alta Vista Drive N; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the <br />request on Wednesday, July 9, 1997; Wednesday, August 13, 1997; and Wednesday, <br />September 10, 1997; and recommended denial of the requested variances; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation on Monday, September 22, 1997, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: <br /> <br />1. Section 1004.020, City Code, requires a minimum lot area of 11,000 square <br />feet, a minimum lot width of 85 feet, and a maximum floor area ratio of 0.3 <br />for interior lots in an R1 zoning district. The existing parcel is 16,585 square <br />feet in area, 71.6 feet in width, and has a floor area ratio of 0.14. <br /> <br />Resolution 9473 - Page 1 of 3 <br />
