<br />2. The proposed use of the property for a commercial communications tower <br />will not have an impact on parks, streets and other public facilities. <br /> <br />3. The proposed use of the property for a commercial communications tower <br />will be compatible with contiguous properties. <br /> <br />4. The proposed use of the property for a commercial communications tower <br />will not have an adverse impact on the market value of contiguous <br />properties. <br /> <br />5. The proposed use of the property for a commercial communications tower <br />will not have an adverse impact on the general public health, safety and <br />welfare. <br /> <br />6. The proposed use of the property for a commercial communications tower <br />is consistent with the City of Roseville Comprehensive Plan's Business <br />desig nation. <br /> <br />7. The applicant has not adequately explained why it is not technically feasible <br />to located the proposed antenna on an City tower site, now that an <br />alternative City-owned site in the area has been identified (Gateway <br />Business Park). <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the <br />City of Roseville, Minnesota (the "City"), Ramsey County, Minnesota, that a conditional use <br />permit to allow the placement of a 90 foot monopole commercial communications tower on <br />a non-City tower site at 2582 Long Lake Road be denied, because the applicant has not <br />adequately explained why it is not technically feasible to locate the proposed antenna on <br />a City-owned site. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />Goedeke, Maschka, Mastel, Wall, and Wiski; and the following voted against the same: <br />None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA) <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY ) <br /> <br />) SS <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified City Manager of the City of Roseville, County <br />of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, do hereby certify that I have carefully compared the <br />attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of said City Council held <br />on the 22nd day of September, 1997, with the original thereof on file in my office. <br /> <br />Resolution 9474 - Page 2 of 3 <br />
