Introductions /Public Comment Invited <br />Commissioners and staff will be introduced. Public participation and public comment is <br />encouraged. <br />2. Approval of Minutes of the May 1, 2012 Meeting <br />Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of May 1, 2012. Please be prepared to approve <br />or amend. <br />Requested Action: Approve /amend minutes of the meeting of May 1, 2012. <br />3. Discuss Joint City Council /Commission Meeting <br />Your annual joint meeting with the City Council will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 at the <br />regular City Council meeting. It will be the first presentation item on the agenda beginning at <br />around 6:20 p.m. for 30 -40 minutes. It is important that there be full attendance. This is your <br />meeting with the City Council to discuss areas of importance to you and to gather input and <br />guidance from them. <br />Included in your packet is a memo redraft from your May meeting to help prepare the City <br />Council for the meeting. <br />Please mark your calendars for Monday, June 18, 2012. <br />Requested Commission Action: Discuss and finalize the memo and approach for the joint <br />meeting. <br />4. Park and Recreation Renewal Program <br />On Wednesday, May 23, 2012 the Responsible Governance for Roseville's Petition for <br />Review was filed. This means that the City cannot enter into any commitments to spend the <br />bond proceeds until the Supreme Court considers whether or not to hear the case. It is <br />anticipated that we should know whether the case will be heard between June 19th and the <br />27th. At this point we are waiting with no future meetings or projects being scheduled. <br />Staff will be prepared to provide the latest information to you at the meeting. <br />Requested Action: Hear update. <br />5.
