The increases in <br />impervious surface due to the many large parking lots and industrial areas have contributed a <br />significant amount of stormwater to the lake. All of the wetlands, except W1, have connectivity <br />to the lake and receive direct stormwater inputs. Locations of the improvements discussed in the <br />following paragraphs are shown in figure 6.6 <br />Community LL-W1 <br />Seasonally Flooded Basin <br />Qualitative Rank: Medium <br />Area: 0.07 acres <br />This is a small isolated depression surrounded by upland forest on three sides and an upland old <br />field to the north. Reed canary grass is the dominant vegetation. The presence of smartweed and <br />duckweed indicates that this basin holds water during spring or significant rain events.
