Public Hearings <br /> Recess Regular Meeting <br /> McGehee moved, Johnson seconded,recessing the regular meeting of the Roseville <br /> City Council, and convening as the Board of Adjustments and Appeals, at approximate- <br /> ly 6:40 p.m. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Johnson; McGehee; Willmus; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Convene as Board of Adjustments and Appeals <br /> Receive Appeal Regarding City Staff's Decision that Wal-Mart is a Permitted Use Under <br /> the Zoning Code for the Property located along County Road C between Prior Avenue <br /> and Cleveland Avenue; and refer the Appeal to the Planning Commission <br /> Chair Roe noted that the Roll Call stood as originally called, with Members Johnson, McGe- <br /> hee, Willmus and Roe present. <br /> Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon provided a brief overview of the appeals <br /> received as noted and included in the agenda packet dated July 9, 2012; and requested action <br /> by the Board of Adjustments and Appeals. <br /> Member McGehee sought clarification that the Planning Commission would hear testimony, as <br /> well as the Board of Appeals at the July 16, 2012 meeting. <br /> Mr. Trudgeon assured Members and the public that, while the Planning Commission meeting <br /> was not an official Public Hearing in the conventional sense, staff had provided notice to ap- <br /> pellants and the property owner, and would take testimony specific to the appeals at the Com- <br /> mission meeting. <br />
