EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 1Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City 2of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 13th day of August, 32012, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. 4 5The following members were present: and the following were absent: . 6 7Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 8 RESOLUTION NO. 9 10 RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENTS 11 P-ST-SW-11-02 DALE STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT 12 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING 13 PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL 14 15 16WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for Improvement P- 17ST-SW-11-02 Dale Street Reconstruction Project, the reconstruction of Dale Street 18between County Road C and S. Owasso Boulevard by the installation of concrete paving, 19concrete curb and gutter, watermains, sanitary sewer, drainage, utilities, and necessary 20appurtenances; and 21 22WHEREAS, the City’s contract price for such improvement is $929,392.26, and the 23expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to 24$140,844.34, so that the total cost of the improvement will be $1,070,173.60. 25 26NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, 27Minnesota as follows: 28 291. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared 30to be $921,655.94 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property 31owners is declared to be $148,517.66. 32 332. The City Manager, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate 34the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable 35lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as 36provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for 37public inspection. 38 393. The City Manager shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the 40council thereof.
