EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />1Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />2of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 13th day of August, <br />32012, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br />4 <br />5The following members were present: and the following were absent: . <br />6 <br />7Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />8 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />9 <br />10 <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENTS <br />11 <br />P-ST-SW-11-02 DALE STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br />12 <br />DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />13 <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />14 <br />15 <br />16WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for Improvement P- <br />17ST-SW-11-02 Dale Street Reconstruction Project, the reconstruction of Dale Street <br />18between County Road C and S. Owasso Boulevard by the installation of concrete paving, <br />19concrete curb and gutter, watermains, sanitary sewer, drainage, utilities, and necessary <br />20appurtenances; and <br />21 <br />22WHEREAS, the City’s contract price for such improvement is $929,392.26, and the <br />23expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to <br />24$140,844.34, so that the total cost of the improvement will be $1,070,173.60. <br />25 <br />26NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />27Minnesota as follows: <br />28 <br />291. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared <br />30to be $921,655.94 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property <br />31owners is declared to be $148,517.66. <br />32 <br />332. The City Manager, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate <br />34the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable <br />35lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as <br />36provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for <br />37public inspection. <br />38 <br />393. The City Manager shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the <br />40council thereof. <br /> <br />
