Approval of Minutes of the June 6, 2012 Meeting <br /> Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of June 6, 2012. Please be prepared to approve <br /> or amend. <br /> Requested Action: Approve/amend minutes of the meeting of June 6, 2012. <br /> 3. Discuss Joint City Council/Commission Meeting <br /> Your joint meeting with the City Council was Monday, June 18, 2012. Please review the <br /> enclosed minutes and be prepared to discuss next steps. <br /> Requested Commission Action: Review minutes and discuss next steps <br /> 4. Park and Recreation Renewal Program <br /> On June 17t" the Responsible Governance for Roseville Group's petition for review was <br /> denied by the Supreme Court, therefore, the Park and Recreation Renewal Program (PRRP) <br /> will move forward. The program is anticipated to move forward holistically and systematically <br /> with community suggestions and input along the way. <br /> The first step in the process is to secure a lead consultant. A Request for Proposals (RFP) <br /> was released on July 25t" with an anticipated award date of October 4t". Enclosed is a copy <br /> of the RFP and the cover letter outlining the general services, process and timeline. <br /> Commissioner Dave Holt has agreed to be a part of the evaluation team for the selection <br /> process. <br /> Included in your packet is a copy of the October, 2011 draft recommendations from the <br /> Natural Resources and Trails Work Group. This document will be used as a working guide <br /> along with the Natural Resources Plan and the Master Plan. Commissioner Doneen and staff <br /> will be prepared to discuss this further with you at the meeting. <br /> A renewed discussion about property acquisition has occurred with the Mounds View School <br /> District (adjacent to Autumn Grove Park) and the owner of the former Press Gym (adjacent to <br /> Rosebrook Park). <br /> Requested Action: Discussion <br /> 5.
