EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 13th day of August, 2012, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Pust, Johnson, Willmus, McGehee and Roe and the following were absent: None. Councilmember Pust introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 10997 RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENTS P-ST-SW-11-02 DALE STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for Improvement P- ST-SW-11-02 Dale Street Reconstruction Project, the reconstruction of Dale Street between County Road C and S. Owasso Boulevard by the installation of concrete paving, concrete curb and gutter, water mains, sanitary sewer, drainage, utilities, and necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the City's contract price for such improvement is $929,392.26, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $140,844.34, so that the total cost of the improvement will be $1,070,173.60. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota as follows: 1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared to be $921,655.94 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $148,517.66. 2. The City Manager, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot,piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection.
