EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 13th day of August, <br /> 2012, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Pust, Johnson, Willmus, McGehee and Roe and <br /> the following were absent: None. <br /> Councilmember Pust introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 10997 <br /> RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENTS <br /> P-ST-SW-11-02 DALE STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br /> DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br /> PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for Improvement P- <br /> ST-SW-11-02 Dale Street Reconstruction Project, the reconstruction of Dale Street <br /> between County Road C and S. Owasso Boulevard by the installation of concrete paving, <br /> concrete curb and gutter, water mains, sanitary sewer, drainage, utilities, and necessary <br /> appurtenances; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City's contract price for such improvement is $929,392.26, and the <br /> expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to <br /> $140,844.34, so that the total cost of the improvement will be $1,070,173.60. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared <br /> to be $921,655.94 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property <br /> owners is declared to be $148,517.66. <br /> 2. The City Manager, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate <br /> the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable <br /> lot,piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as <br /> provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for <br /> public inspection. <br />
