AttachmentA EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 1Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City 2of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 10th day of September, 32012, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. 4 5The following members were present: and the following were absent: . 6 7Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 8 RESOLUTION No. 9 10 RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS 11 FOR STORM SEWER LINING PROJECT 12 13 14WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans 15and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were 16received on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law 17and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: 18 BIDDER AMOUNT Visu-Sewer, Inc. $ 145,010.00 Veit & Company, Inc. $ 189,980.00 Lametti & Sons, Inc. $ 192,660.00 Insituform Technologies USA, LLC $ 216,364.00 Michels Corporation $ 317,378.00 19 20WHEREAS, it appears that Visu-Sewer, Inc., of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, is the lowest 21responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $145,010.00, and 22 23NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, 24Minnesota: 25 261.The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract 27with Visu-Sewer, Inc., of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, for $145,010.00 in the name of the 28City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and 29specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the 30office of the City Engineer. 312.The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders 32the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the 33next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. 34
