The commissions assist the council on specific areas of <br />2 <br />interest. Commissioners are appointed by the City Council to serve three-year terms. <br />3 <br />Commissioners serve on a volunteer basis, donating many hours to the City of Roseville. <br />4 <br />Commissioner Thelma McKenzie has served on the Human Rights Commission on and off over <br />5 <br />the years, since 1981.
