Also present: <br />Attorneys Paul Reuvers and Amber Lee of Iverson 8s Reuvers; City <br />Attorney Scott Anderson; City Manger Bill Malinen; and, Finance <br />Director Chris Miller. <br />The Special Meeting convened at 5:00 p.m. in Open Session. <br />City Attorney Anderson advised that the Open Meeting law requires the <br />City, prior to closing a m.eeting, to state the grounds allowing closure and <br />to describe the subject to be discussed. City Attorney Anderson advised <br />that according to Minnesota Statute Section13D.05 of the Open Meeting <br />Law, closure was permitted under the attorney/c3.ient privilege. City <br />Attorney Anderson described �he subject to be discussed as a report by <br />A�torn.ey Reuvers on Court praceedings in the 'I�vin Lakes litigation, <br />including his opinions on City options, ana.Iysis of the issues, and <br />praposed actions and straL-egy in the case. <br />Roe moved, Klausing seconded, to go into closed session. Motion <br />approved 4--0. The Meeting was closed at 5:05 p.m. and the Council <br />convened in E�ecutive Session. The meeting concluded at approximately <br />6:05 p.m. <br />
