Would hold the <br />status of the rank of present deputy chiefs of very 3arge deparkments. <br />� <br />* District Commanders report to the Division Commander of Patrol and will <br />function much like the current poiice chiefs of smaller departments at this time. <br />* Vehicle and Equipment Coordinator will act as Iiaisan between the areas and <br />service centers, purchasing as required. <br />* Parks and Water will be responsible for all county parks and waterways to include <br />water safety, snowmobiles, etc. <br />* The D.A.R.E. function in the schools will be performed by patrol personnel from <br />the respective patrol areas. <br />* K 9 unit will supply K 9 officers and dogs to patrol areas. <br />* Volunteer services will include Reserve units and Explorers. <br />� <br />* <br />C.S.O./Cadet <br />'IYaffic and Accident divisions willhandle all traffic related operations within the <br />county police area. <br />21 <br />
