Attachnt for Terminal Fact Sheet
11; Spill/Emergency Response Drills:
_
- Quarterly notification drills
- Annual "table top"drills (Including local agencies)
- Annual "Response Zone" drills
- Tri-annual "Mock Disaster" drills
- Unannounced Federally mandated drills
- Monthly OPA-90 equipment checks
- Annual OPA-90 Deployment drills.
#12: This is somewhat confusing because item (a) appears to refer to
acility inspections and (b) through (e} is far Cank inspections.
b). "Routine" external inspections that satisfy API-b53
guidelines are performed a least once each manned shift.
Consequently, one is performed three times per day.
c). "Scheduled" tank inspections are performed and documented
annually prior to May lst.
d). "Ultrasonic" shell tests are not routinely performed. API
653 allows internal inspections to be substituted. We use
this method because is more thorough and reliable.
Utrasonic tests are used for "In Service" testing.
e). This information is contained in the attached tank table.
