Vila Park
Villa Park is approximately 41 acres and is located at Cohansey Boulevard and Crescent Lane.
Set back amidst winding roads and rolling landscape just northwest of McCarran's Lake. Villa
Pazk includes forest, rassland and marshland.
The wetlands in Villa Park are concentrated in the northwest-southeast trending valley that heads
toward McCarron's Lake. Thcse wetlands have been modified to reduce iloodin and for other
puiposes in the past. The upland areas are largely dominated by lowland hardwood forest
species that have colonized formerly open upland areas in the last 30 to 50 years. Upland and
wetland communities here tcnd to be in moderate condition, and znay require more intense
management tan some other city parks to realize substantial improvetnent.
Recreationally, Villa Park includes approximately one mile of paved pathway crossin wooded
bridges through forests. Villa Park is tte fifth largest park in Roseville. In addition to its the
rural feelin, Villa Park offers Roseville residents a variety of recreational amenities including a
ballfield, two play areas, a hockey rink, basketball caurt, and a small picnic shelters well as a
bocce ball court in the western portion of the park near the B-Dale club.
City of Roseville I39
Prks Natrrral Resotrce Maiagelriezt
