me-not in the lowest areas. Nonnatives encountered in this forest include poison nightshade, <br />motherwort, camip, motherwort, burdock, and stin�ing nettle. Also found here, alon� the ed�e <br />of a trail intersection on the northeast side of the park was �arlic mustard. Although the forests <br />in the immcdiate area are only of rnoderate quality, garlic mustard has the potetttial to quickly <br />expand its ranbc within the park and beyond. It is known to disglace native species by forming <br />large single-species populations and outcompeting native species for available space. <br />During the fiend inventory for this park, a pair of broad-winged hawks was seen in this <br />community and perhaps may be using the park for nesting.
